President Garth Gabriel and the Lake Region Conference Administrative Committee announced that as of July 10, 2023, Zakia Jarrett has been promoted to the position of Director of Human Resources and Volunteer Services for the Lake Region Conference. Prior to this promotion, Mrs. Jarrett was the Associate Human Resources Director. The position of Director of Human Resources was previously led by Dr. Abraham Henry, the Vice President for Administration, who will continue to provide guidance to the LRC Human Resources team. Prior to Mrs. Jarrett joining LRC in 2022, she worked for Advent Health in Human Resources, specifically in patient care management. Dr. Henry commented on the promotion announcement during staff worship. “We are blessed to have Zakia as a valued member of the LRC team. Let us keep her and her family and the HR Team in prayer as she takes the lead in this area of ministry and service.”
