From October 25-27, women from across the Lake Region Conference gathered in South Bend, Indiana, for the 2024 Women’s Ministries Retreat under the theme “Empowered to Renew.” It was a time of spiritual renewal, empowerment, and connection through worship, workshops, and fellowship. The featured guest speaker was Chaplain Adrienne Townsend Benson. Led out by Tricia Payne, LRC Women’s Ministry director, this was the first women’s retreat since the pandemic. Commenting on the event, “God truly blessed throughout the planning and execution of the weekend. Our prayer was for women of all ages to be renewed by His Spirit.”
