On Sunday, August 18, 2024, the Lake Region Conference held a pivotal Mid-term Report meeting at the Haughville SDA Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, hosted by Pastor Henoc Paulicin and Pastor Tunde Ojewole, Illiana Area Leader. This gathering, open to all church members, provided an important platform for both conference administrators and ministry directors to share updates and for constituents to voice their perspectives.
Key reports were presented by conference leadership, including President Garth Gabriel, VP for Administration Abraham Henry, CFO/Treasurer Kent Nichols, and Ministerial Director Kenneth Elliott. They highlighted significant advancements in various areas, such as review of the LRC Strategic Plan, enhancements to the conference campgrounds, ongoing evangelism initiatives, and the continued growth in membership, ministry, and tithe contributions.
Additional insights were shared through video presentations by Education Superintendent Deirdre Garnett and Young Adult Ministries Director James Doggette, II.
