Labor Day Weekend 2023 in Chicago, Illinois was enhanced by the presence of over 100 young adults from around the country who convened together for one purpose – to strengthen their core. That was the theme of the unprecedented collaboration between the Breath of Life TV Ministries with Speaker/Director Pastor Deblieaire Snell and LRC Young Adult Ministries Director, Dr. James Doggette, Jr. Fueled by the desire to provide young adults with a safe space to worship, fellowship and learn together, the 3-day event provided just that. Pastor Snell shared this sentiment to the attendees. “We are here to let you know that you are seen, heard and loved.” The event began with Friday night worship with speaker, Pastor EJ Bell and the gospel play, produced by Danita L. Jones. Sabbath was enveloped with core workshops, worship with Pastor Snell and award winning musical artist, Koryn Hawthorne. Sabbath evening was highlighted by a worship concert with Kymar Garner, Anthony Bolan and Jillian Monet. The weekend culminated with a networking brunch, held in downtown Chicago. “We want to celebrate what God did. Young adults traveled from around the country – California, Maine, Florida, Alabama, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. We look forward to the next rally!” said James Doggette, Jr.
