The Lake Region Conference is truly blessed to be served by a dedicated and dynamic group of pastors who faithfully lead and inspire their congregations each week. On April 6, 2025, the Conference administration paused to pour back into these leaders during a one-day workers’ meeting held at the Lake Union Conference office in Berrien Springs.
The day began with a heartfelt devotional from Elder Garth Gabriel, Conference President, setting a spiritual tone for the gathering. Dr. Abraham Henry, Executive Secretary, shared essential updates related to secretariat matters and human resources, while Elder Kent Nichols, Treasurer, offered timely financial insights and reminders.
Pastors also received key announcements from the newly appointed Stewardship Director, Pastor Henoc Paulicin, Eddie Allen, VP for Multilingual Ministries, along with updates from Earl Baldwin, Jr. and Dr. James Doggette, Jr. regarding the highly anticipated BAYDA United Youth Congress.
A highlight of the meeting was a powerful presentation by Dr. Emil Peeler, who encouraged pastors to remain steadfast in their calling and leadership, reminding them of the urgency and hope tied to Christ’s soon return.
The day served as a meaningful time of encouragement, connection, and renewal for the pastoral team across the Lake Region territory.
